HyProMag USA Begins Stockpiling Feedstock with ILS Partnership
CoTec Holdings Corp. and Mkango Resources Ltd. have announced the start of Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions LLC's (ILS) feedstock stockpiling initiative. This follows a recent supply agreement between HyProMag USA LLC and ILS. Pre-processing of the feedstock is set to begin by the end of 2025 at ILS sites in South Carolina and Nevada. ILS specializes in electronics recycling, providing full traceability and supporting a circular economy in the U.S.
CoTec CEO Julian Treger emphasized the importance of securing feedstock for recycling success. Prior to launching its rare earth magnet recycling plant in Texas, HyProMag USA aims to secure 6-12 months of feedstock supply. Mkango CEO Will Dawes noted the agreement's role in expanding rare earth magnet manufacturing in the U.S., fostering a stronger supply chain and unlocking new sources.
