HyProMag USA Partners with ILS for Rare Earth Recycling Efforts
CoTec Holdings Corp. and Mkango Resources Ltd. have announced a strategic partnership between HyProMag USA and Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions (ILS) for feedstock supply in South Carolina and Nevada. This agreement aims to support HyProMag USA's rare earth magnet recycling plant, located in Texas, with neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) materials procured by ILS.
ILS will utilize advanced technology from Inserma for efficient magnet separation from hard disk drives. HyProMag USA targets the growing demand from data centers and aims to establish reliable sources of NdFeB feedstock, including motor rotors and wind turbine magnets, for its Dallas-Fort Worth Hub.
The collaboration marks the beginning of several anticipated supply agreements for HyProMag USA. Notably, ILS offers full traceability to reinforce the circular economy and essential mineral supply chains within the American market.
