Crédit Agricole S.A. Completes Share Repurchase Program
Crédit Agricole S.A. announced the completion of its share repurchase program, initiated on August 10, 2026, and concluded on September 23, 2026. A total of 31,999,995 shares were acquired for a sum of 605,540,453 euros. The execution was carried out through an independent investment services provider, terminating the associated instructions upon the program's conclusion.
The repurchase aims to counteract the dilutive effects of the 2026 employee capital increase, with the acquired shares set for cancellation. This resulted in a -14 basis points effect on Crédit Agricole S.A.'s Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio and a -9 basis points impact on the group's ratio.
During the program, the existing liquidity agreement with Kepler Cheuvreux was paused and is set to resume.
