Sensirion Breaks Ground on New Production Facility in Stäfa

Sensirion, a leader in sensor manufacturing, has commenced construction on a new production building in Stäfa, Switzerland. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 30, 2025. This new facility, set to be completed within two and a half years, will feature advanced cleanrooms tailored for the semiconductor industry. It emphasizes Sensirion's dedication to its Stäfa location, ensuring the security of 800 regional jobs.

The expansion also includes a new office building at Moritzberg to accommodate additional engineers, vital for supporting the company's growth and technological progress. The facilities will incorporate sustainable building practices, aligning with the Minergie P and DGNB Gold standards, enhancing the local infrastructure with green spaces.

Sensirion's sensors serve diverse sectors, from automotive to medical, reinforcing its status as a pivotal player in global sensor solutions. With its headquarters stationed in Stäfa, the company supports over 800 employees.
