Sensirion Unveils Advanced Digital Sensors for Demanding Environments

Sensirion has introduced two new digital sensors, the SHT40-AD1P-R2 and SHT41-AD1P-R2, designed for high-demand environments. These sensors are now available via their global distribution network. Known for their precision, they feature removable protective covers to ensure durability in various settings.

The sensors provide high accuracy in humidity and temperature measurements, with the SHT40 offering an accuracy of ±1.8% RH (maximum ±3.5%) and ±0.2°C, and the SHT41 providing ±1.8% RH (maximum ±2.5%) and ±0.2°C. Housed in a compact DFN casing, they are suitable for space-limited applications and offer easy integration with a standard I2C interface.

The protective cover adds value by enhancing durability during handling and deployment, making the sensors reliable in mass production environments. They are suitable for various applications, from industrial systems to consumer electronics.
