Critical Elements Secures Conditional $20 Million for Infrastructure Project

Critical Elements Lithium Corporation has received conditional approval from the Canadian Government for $20 million in funding. This investment aims to support the relocation of power transmission lines and construction of a sub-station for the Rose Lithium-Tantalum Project in Québec. The funding comes from Natural Resources Canada's Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund.

Jean-Sébastien Lavallée, CEO of Critical Elements, expressed gratitude for the Canadian support, highlighting the critical role of the funds in advancing the project. This collaboration reflects the importance placed on sustainability and Indigenous partnerships, underlined by the Pihkuutaau Agreement of July 2019.

Canadian Energy Minister Jonathan Wilkinson emphasized the project's role in advancing Québec's production of sustainable critical minerals, crucial for various high-tech industries. This initiative also strengthens Canada’s supply chains and economic growth. However, the funding is subject to final due diligence and documentation.
