CYBERGUN Seeks a Future for VERNEY-CARRON
On February 11, 2025, CYBERGUN announced its efforts to turn around its subsidiary, VERNEY-CARRON, one of the pioneers of the French gun industry. Since 2022, CYBERGUN, having taken over the struggling VERNEY-CARRON, has been working to reorganize its debts and industrial structure.
To ensure a sustainable future, CYBERGUN is currently looking for an industrial partner specializing in small arms. Discussions with a potential candidate, a global player in the small arms industry, are at an advanced stage. However, the financial restructuring of VERNEY-CARRON, in particular through a judicial recovery procedure, is required to finalize this partnership.
CYBERGUN is committed to remaining a strategic partner and plans to invest further to support VERNEY-CARRON. The public authorities are closely monitoring this issue, which is considered crucial for French industrial sovereignty.
