Danone and Arcor Establish Joint Venture in Argentina
Danone and Arcor have announced the successful completion of their joint venture in Argentina, aiming to expand dairy opportunities in the region. This collaboration combines Danone's longstanding presence and expertise in Argentina’s dairy sector with Mastellone Hermanos and their logistics subsidiary, Logistica La Serenísima.
The joint venture leverages over two decades of partnership between the companies to enhance innovation, operational excellence, and market reach. Effective from August 1st, 2026, Danone and Arcor share equal control, with the venture now reflected in Danone's financials as an equity-accounted entity.
This strategic move is designed to provide Argentinian consumers with a broader range of dairy products while boosting the companies' market influence.
