Dateline Seeks to Resume Colosseum Project Amid Legal Proceedings

Dateline Resources Limited has filed a motion to resume operations at its Colosseum Gold and Rare Earth Project in California. The motion aims to stay a preliminary injunction issued by the District Court on August 10, 2026. This legal action is part of an appeal process to overturn the injunction, which halted operations due to a lawsuit by the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA).

Filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California, the motion will be reviewed by Judge Christina A. Snyder. Dateline's Managing Director, Stephen Baghdadi, expressed optimism, emphasizing a strong case and intent to return to work shortly.

The injunction challenges Dateline's activities within the Mojave National Preserve. The outcome could have significant implications for mining operations in the region. Dateline is also involved in other projects, including the Argos Strontium Project and Music Valley Heavy Rare Earth Project.
