DEUTZ Acquires Frerk Aggregatebau to Expand Energy Business

DEUTZ AG has announced the acquisition of Frerk Aggregatebau GmbH, a manufacturer of power generation systems based in Schweringen, Germany. The deal includes the purchase of all shares, with the transaction expected to finalize in the first quarter of 2026. Frerk specializes in emergency power systems and decentralized energy supply, catering to data centers and critical infrastructure operators among others.

The acquisition aims to strategically enhance DEUTZ's Energy business unit by integrating Frerk’s complementary products and expertise. The purchase price is in the upper double-digit million-euro range, featuring both cash and variable components tied to future business performance. Debt financing is planned, and the deal requires anti-trust clearance.
