Digi Power X Signs Major AI Colocation Agreement

Digi Power X Inc., an AI data center infrastructure operator, has announced a Master Services Agreement with Cerebras Systems. This agreement concerns a 40 MW AI data center campus in Columbiana, Alabama. The initial 10-year term of the contract is valued at approximately $1.1 billion, potentially expanding to $2.5 billion with renewals.

The facility will be built in two phases, starting with 15 MW, followed by an additional 25 MW. The site will comply with Tier III infrastructure standards to support high-density AI hardware. Construction for Phase 1 will begin immediately, with a planned service readiness by December 2026.

The location was chosen for its power infrastructure and proximity to fiber corridors. Digi Power X owns the land, providing a financial advantage over competitors. This development positions the company as a significant player in AI infrastructure.
