DKSH Expands Personal Care Segment with Aston Chemicals Acquisition

DKSH Management Ltd. has announced the acquisition of Aston Chemicals Ltd, a distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, to enhance its footprint in the UK and Polish personal care industry. The deal adds 38 specialists to DKSH's European operations, further developing its formulation capabilities to deliver tailored, high-performance solutions.

The acquisition supports DKSH Performance Materials' strategy of expanding its presence in key European markets. Aston Chemicals, established near London in 1990, brings expertise in sun care, hair care, skin care, and color cosmetics, alongside a diversified product portfolio and a dedicated formulation lab in the UK.

This integration is expected to drive growth and innovation in personal care applications. Aston Chemicals, with annual net sales of around CHF 20 million, will be fully integrated into DKSH's operations, promising enhanced technical and formulation expertise.
