DKSH Marks 160 Years of Presence in Asia

DKSH Management Ltd., a key player in the distribution and marketing industry, celebrates 160 years of operations in Asia. Founded in 1865 by Caspar Brennwald in Yokohama, Japan, DKSH stands as the oldest foreign enterprise with continuous operations in Japan. The company's Swiss origins and its substantial contribution to the economic ties between Switzerland and Japan are pivotal to its reputation and enduring success.

The company's rich history is underlined by the merging of Brennwald's trading business with those of Eduard Anton Keller and Wilhelm Heinrich Diethelm, forming today's DKSH. In celebration of its anniversary, DKSH Japan organized an "Evening of Gratitude" in Tokyo. This event gathered clients, Swiss and Japanese stakeholders, and DKSH's leadership.
