Drägerwerk AG Increases Forecast After Customs Refunds

Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA, a prominent company based in Lübeck, Germany, has announced an upward revision of its earnings forecast for the year. This adjustment follows the receipt of additional customs refunds totaling approximately EUR 14.2 million. The company plans to reflect this positive financial impact in its third-quarter financials, resulting in an anticipated EBIT margin of 6.0 to 8.0 percent, up from the previous projection of 5.5 to 7.5 percent.

Earlier in the second quarter, Dräger received customs refunds amounting to EUR 7.8 million. The company foresees the possibility of more refunds ranging from EUR 7 to 9 million, though the exact timing and amount remain uncertain. Despite these financial improvements, Dräger maintains its forecast for net sales growth, projecting an increase of 2.0 to 6.0 percent, unchanged by currency fluctuations.
