DRONE VOLT and AMPACIMON successfully install a DLR sensor on a high-voltage line
On April 29, 2025, DRONE VOLT, a specialist in professional civilian drones, and AMPACIMON, an expert in Dynamic Line Rating (DLR), announced the successful installation of a DLR sensor on an active 220 kV line. This operation was carried out without interruption, thanks to the LINEDRONE DLR drone. This project highlights the importance of cutting-edge technologies in optimizing electrical networks.
The LINEDRONE DLR, designed to safely operate on live lines, has proven the effectiveness of its technology. Equipped with a robotic arm, it allows sensors to be installed without human contact, ensuring rapid and safe operation. DLR sensors measure key data such as temperature and vibrations in real time.
