DRONE VOLT enters into a strategic partnership with Tonner Drones
On August 27, 2026, DRONE VOLT signed a binding agreement with Tonner Drones, including the transfer of Azur Drones' assets and an industrial partnership. Azur Drones, now wholly owned by DRONE VOLT, specializes in autonomous surveillance drones. This transfer is subject to the approval of the court-appointed administrator of the former entity.
DRONE VOLT has partnered with Tonner Drones to maximize Azur Drones' assets, particularly its "Drone in a Box" system. DRONE VOLT has secured worldwide commercial exclusivity, excluding Europe, and will continue to supply the system to its existing customers. Azur Drones is refocusing on the European market and the defense sector.
The addition of the KOBRA AI drone, incorporating Artificial Intelligence, aims to strengthen the technological advantage of this surveillance system. DRONE VOLT thus intends to position itself in a rapidly growing global market, estimated at over €6 billion by 2034.
