Avolta Secures Nine-Year Retail Contract Extension with OMA in Mexico
Avolta AG has announced a significant nine-year extension of its retail contract with Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA) in Mexico. This move strengthens Avolta's presence, which dates back to 1999, across 15 retail stores in Monterrey, Mazatlán, Acapulco, and Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo airports, covering a total area of over 3,000 square meters.
The contract extension aligns with Avolta's Destination 2027 strategy, focusing on providing travelers with premium shopping experiences infused with Mexican culture. Enrique Urioste, Avolta's President and CEO for LATAM & Caribbean, expressed gratitude and emphasized the long-term success of the partnership with OMA over the past 25 years.
OMA's CEO, Ricardo Dueñas, highlighted Avolta's vital role in enhancing passenger experiences, noting the collaboration's importance as both entities adapt to the evolving travel market.
