Eagle Plains and Partner Xcite Uranium Begin Uranium City Exploration
On June 15, 2026, Eagle Plains Resources Ltd., in partnership with Xcite Uranium Inc., announced the start of fieldwork at Uranium City Projects in Saskatchewan. Xcite, holding the option to earn an 80% stake in six projects, has approved a $1.6M exploration budget for 2026.
The exploration program focuses on identifying targets for diamond drilling in fall 2026 using a mix of ground surveys, geophysics, and advanced drone technology. Geophysical surveys include airborne radiometrics and gravity studies, aiming to locate uranium mineralization through analysis of fault systems.
Eagle Plains has secured necessary permits and will operate the project in collaboration with TerraLogic Exploration. An Exploration Agreement with local First Nations underscores Eagle Plains' commitment to community engagement.
