Edenred and Visa Form Strategic Partnership to Drive Payment Innovation
Edenred and Visa have announced a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating innovation in the domains of Benefits and Engagement, Mobility, and B2B Payment Solutions. This collaboration combines Visa's expansive network and innovative capabilities with Edenred's market expertise and proprietary technology.
With Visa's certification of Edenred's issuing and processing infrastructure, Edenred will now be able to issue Visa credentials across multiple activities. This move strengthens Edenred's position in specific-purpose payment solutions and expands Visa's reach beyond its usual markets.
The partnership enables Edenred to access Visa's latest B2B payment solutions, enhancing flexibility, security, and efficiency for businesses and employees. The first Visa-enabled Edenred virtual payments are set to launch in Europe at the beginning of 2026.
