EKA Mobility Marks Significant 5x Volume Growth

PUNE, India — EKA Mobility has reported remarkable growth, achieving a fivefold increase in volume year-on-year for FY 2025–26. The company sold 1,143 units and produced 1,344 electric commercial vehicles, expanding their electric vehicle portfolio to include M&HCV trucks alongside existing buses and SCVs. As a recognized Champion OEM under the Auto PLI Scheme, EKA continues to grow with new manufacturing facilities aiming for an annual capacity of 10,000 buses, 6,000 trucks, and 24,000 SCVs.

EKA's recent achievements highlight its electric bus deployment across 15+ Indian states and entry into the heavy-duty truck market, contributing to logistics electrification. Additionally, the deployment of a hydrogen fuel cell bus at Cochin International Airport underscores its commitment to innovation. Globally, EKA has initiated bus deployments in Africa and plans expansions through partnerships in Australia.
