Electric Metals' Assessment Shows Notable Manganese Grade Improvement at Emily Deposit

Electric Metals (USA) Limited has reported promising results from an ore sorting assessment at its Emily Manganese Deposit in Minnesota. Conducted by Rados International Technologies, the assessment reveals that ore sorting could significantly boost manganese feed grade while maintaining high recovery rates.

Ore sorting simulations upgraded manganese content from 8.2% to 17.5%, retaining 92% of the manganese, with the potential to reject 57% of the material before processing. High-grade scenarios reached concentrate grades near 33% Mn. The study underlines potential cost savings across transportation, processing, and waste management, enhancing project viability.

The Emily Deposit showcases geological characteristics favorable for sensor-based sorting, promoting economic utilization of lower-grade materials. Electric Metals aims to integrate these findings in ongoing studies to optimize the North Star Manganese Project.
