Electrovaya Inc., a Toronto-based lithium-ion battery manufacturer, has announced a significant purchase order valued at approximately $6.3 million. Originating from their OEM sales channel, this order is for a major Fortune 100 e-commerce company in the United States. These batteries will be utilized to power material handling electric vehicles in various distribution centers. This contributes to Electrovaya's fiscal year cumulative total, surpassing $16 million in orders from this client.
Expectations are set high for further orders later this year. Electrovaya's Vice President of Business Development, Dr. Jeremy Dang, expressed satisfaction with this repeat collaboration, highlighting the deployment of over 2,500 Infinity batteries across more than 40 distribution centers internationally.
