Encavis Enhances Italian Operations with New Battery Storage Project

Encavis has announced the addition of a utility-scale battery storage system to its operations in Italy, marking a significant step in its strategic development. The standalone facility in Ceprano, Lazio, boasts an installed capacity of around 65 MW and a storage capacity of about 260 MWh. The project, acquired from ReFeel New Energy, is set for commissioning in 2028.

Encavis aims to integrate renewable energy generation with battery storage, boosting market optimization. This approach will enhance energy system flexibility and stability as Italy addresses the integration of renewable energy. With a photovoltaic portfolio of about 420 MW, Encavis stands as a leading independent solar power producer in Italy, further strengthening its market position.
