Energiekontor AG Achieves Financial Close for Bützfleth Wind Project

Energiekontor AG has successfully reached financial close for its Bützfleth wind project, marking a significant milestone for the company. This development follows its successful participation in the Federal Network Agency's EEG tender in May 2025. The project, which has planning permission, is ready to begin construction and is projected to start operations by the end of 2027.

The wind farm will feature three Enercon turbines with a total capacity of 17 megawatts. Once fully operational, the park is expected to generate around 53 gigawatt-hours annually, powering over 16,000 households and reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 40,000 tonnes each year.

CEO Peter Szabo emphasized the achievement as a key milestone, building on the company's record of financial closures and adapting to market dynamics. Energiekontor plans to either sell the project or add it to its portfolio, reinforcing its growth strategy.
