Enfinity Global Launches First Solar Project with Microsoft in Italy

Enfinity Global announced the commencement of its first solar PV project under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Microsoft in Italy. This 33.8 MW AC power plant is part of a broader collaboration targeting 366 MW AC. The initiative supports Microsoft's sustainability efforts by providing a reliable renewable energy source.

The project is the start of several renewable energy installations in Italy, including regions like Lazio, Emilia-Romagna, and Basilicata. This partnership aims to create jobs and contribute positively to local communities. Enfinity Global, founded in 2019, is a major player in renewable energy, with a 39.3 GW portfolio of projects worldwide.

The company, based in the U.S., leads the solar PPA market in Italy, contracting 808 MW over two years. This marks significant progress in their commitment to global renewable energy solutions.
