EnviTec Biogas Reports Steady Progress and Strategic Shift in H1 2026

In the first half of 2026, EnviTec Biogas AG met expectations, with total output increasing to EUR 182.9 million, up from EUR 164.9 million in H1 2025. Sales revenues reached EUR 169.2 million, reflecting a significant rise from the same period last year. However, the earnings figures showed a decrease; EBITDA fell to EUR 21.4 million from EUR 26.3 million, and EBT dropped to EUR 4.4 million from EUR 10.2 million. The decline was due to increased costs associated with bio-LNG and regulatory changes affecting biofuels.

EnviTec plans to transition from electricity to biomethane production, supported by securing awards for plant capacity in a recent biomass auction. This transition is part of a larger investment strategy, focusing on expanding production capabilities and capitalizing on international market demands. The fiscal outlook remains positive, expecting revenue growth and improved earnings in 2027.
