EssilorLuxottica and Meta Platforms, Inc. have expanded their successful partnership with the launch of new AI glasses at Meta Connect. The new products, including the Oakley Meta Vanguard and Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2), represent the latest in wearable technology.

The Oakley Meta Vanguard introduces Athletic Intelligence with features like a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a comfortable design for intense workouts. These glasses are water and dust resistant and integrate with Garmin and Strava for real-time performance insights. Pre-orders are priced at $499.

The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) offers enhanced features such as extended battery life and new styling options. A standout feature, Conversation Focus, uses open-ear speakers to enhance conversations in noisy environments. Priced from $379, these glasses are readily available.

Additionally, Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses were introduced, featuring a visual display for notifications and interactions, available from September 30 in the U.S., priced at $799. The glasses demonstrate the companies' technical prowess in AI and design.
