ExxonMobil sells its majority stake in Esso SAF
Esso SAF announced that ExxonMobil is in exclusive negotiations with North Atlantic France SAS to sell its 82.89% majority stake in Esso SAF. The expected price is €149.19 per share, with possible adjustments based on cash and inventory values. This transaction is subject to certain regulatory approvals and is expected to close by the end of 2025.
ExxonMobil also intends to sell its stake in ExxonMobil Chemical France SAS to North Atlantic. North Atlantic will make a mandatory tender offer for the remaining Esso SAF shares in the first quarter of 2026, subject to legal conditions, which may result in a squeeze-out.
