Eurobattery Minerals Launches Archaeological Studies in Galicia
Eurobattery Minerals AB has initiated archaeological control and monitoring at its San Juan tungsten project in Galicia. The Spanish subsidiary, Tungsten San Juan S.L., is working with a Galician firm specializing in archaeological services. Initial studies have identified no potential archaeological areas within the project concession.
Despite no findings, further preliminary archaeological programs are planned to ensure mining activities coexist harmoniously with the environment. Eurobattery reaffirms its commitment to adhering to Spanish regulations on cultural heritage, prioritizing responsible management. Local archaeologists will oversee the initial clearing and soil removal stages.
The company's approach is a testament to its proactive stance on conservation. The next phase includes a technical project for ongoing monitoring, aligning with regional heritage protection laws. Production at San Juan is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
