FinnCobalt Releases First Sustainability Report for Hautalampi Project

Eurobattery Minerals AB's subsidiary, FinnCobalt Oy, has published its first Sustainability Report for the Hautalampi project located in North Karelia, Finland. The report highlights the integration of responsible mining into the project's framework, focusing on environment, people, and community pillars. The initiative aligns with the Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) framework.

Key achievements in 2025 included zero workplace accidents, comprehensive groundwater monitoring, an updated Natura 2000 assessment, and active community engagement. Preparations are underway for CO₂-free energy and a fully electrified mining fleet, aiming to minimize the project's carbon footprint.

FinnCobalt has also revamped its website's "Environment and Responsibility" section to provide accessible bilingual content. Throughout 2026, the company plans to enhance its sustainability efforts, prioritizing emissions reduction, water management, and biodiversity protection.
