SoftBank reduces its stake in Eutelsat Communications
In a letter dated November 27, 2025, SoftBank Group Capital Limited announced that it had fallen below the 10% threshold of Eutelsat Communications' share capital and voting rights. As of November 21, 2025, SoftBank held 49,619,936 shares, representing 7.27% of the company's share capital and voting rights. This change is due to a capital increase by Eutelsat Communications.
Previously, SoftBank held a larger stake, but the capital increase changed this distribution. The transaction led to a relative dilution of SoftBank's shares in the Paris-based satellite telecommunications company.
