Evotec Unveils 'Horizon' Strategy for Growth and Agility

Evotec SE has announced the launch of 'Horizon', a strategic initiative aimed at advancing its transformation across operations, science, and commercial execution. This new phase follows their Priority Reset from 2024. The model seeks to streamline global operations down to 10 sites, enhance scientific expertise through Centers of Excellence, and upgrade commercial operations for faster responsiveness and efficiency. These changes are projected to generate approximately €75 million in savings by the end of 2027.

The restructure includes a significant workforce adjustment affecting up to 800 positions as Evotec accelerates its focus on high-value segments in drug discovery and preclinical development. The company aims to foster sustainable growth and strengthen its position in the market by emphasizing technology-driven revenue streams and operational efficiency.
