FairCap Finalizes Sale of AdriaTronics to Star Tech Trieste
On October 8, 2025, FairCap announced the sale of the AdriaTronics manufacturing site to Star Tech Trieste, a subsidiary of Star Tech Industries. The site, based in Trieste, Italy, will begin operations under its new name on October 1, 2025. This transaction marks FairCap's third successful exit to a strategic investor this year.
The AdriaTronics site, previously owned by Flex Ltd., focuses on advanced manufacturing services. Under FairCap's management, the site expanded its sales pipeline and improved operational efficiencies, partly by implementing a separate ERP system. Key to the transition was collaboration between AdriaTronics and FairCap's teams.
Star Tech Industries, active in consulting and investment in diverse technologies, plans to invest €80 million into the site. The company aims to maintain the current workforce of 333 employees, with plans to increase this to 420. The focus will be on manufacturing third-generation optical transceivers for data centers.
