Smart City Expo Doha: Envisioning a Bright Urban Future

Smart City Expo Doha returns to the Middle East in November, organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. Co-located with MWC25 Doha, this event promises an extensive program centered on innovative urban solutions.

Over two days, the expo will feature 40 prominent speakers focusing on digital innovation, disruptive technology, future economies, connected infrastructures, and governance. It's part of Qatar's efforts to integrate technology and creativity in urban planning, aligning with the Digital Agenda 2030.

Director of Digital Innovation at the Ministry, Eman Al-Kuwari, highlights the importance of using technology beyond connectivity to foster smarter, inclusive cities. Similarly, Ricard Zapatero from Fira de Barcelona emphasizes the event's growing influence in reimagining cityscapes.
