FireFox Gold Commences Extensive Exploration at Mustajärvi Project

FireFox Gold Corp has initiated an ambitious exploration campaign at its Mustajärvi Gold Project in Finland. The company aims to drill over 10,000 metres of diamond core by spring 2026. The focus is on existing mineralized zones along the Mustajärvi Shear Zone and includes bottom-of-till sampling at new targets like Mustajärvi West and East.

Drilling will mix infill and step-out approaches to explore further the Central, Northeast, and East Zones, targeting new areas indicated by previous electrical geophysics surveys. The campaign also includes geophysical work to identify conductive zones possibly rich in pyrite, often linked with high-grade gold.

COO Carl Lofberg remarked on the project’s smooth start and ongoing financing. The company is also exploring projects at Sarvi and Jeesiö. The BoT sampling will identify further drill targets across the glacial sediment-covered terrain of Mustajärvi.
