CTO Stephan Simmang to Depart flatexDEGIRO AG

flatexDEGIRO AG announced the planned departure of CTO Stephan Simmang by the end of 2025, at his own request, as he seeks new challenges. Simmang will step down as a Management Board member on May 31, 2025. His duties will transition to Jens Möbitz, COO of flatexDEGIRO Bank AG. Katarzyna Rybnik, the deputy since 2021, will manage the technology division, reporting to Möbitz.

Simmang, who joined flatexDEGIRO in 2016, played a key role in advancing the IT platform and fostering technological innovations. Previously, he also served briefly as interim Co-CEO in 2024.

Stefan Müller, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, acknowledged Simmang's contributions, emphasizing the focus on platform harmonization and future product offerings under Möbitz's leadership.
