FlatexDEGIRO Launches Deposit Platform for Hamburg Commercial Bank

Frankfurt am Main, March 4, 2026 – flatexDEGIRO has implemented a comprehensive deposit platform for Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB) as part of its Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) strategy. The platform, now operating under the "Hamburg Direct Bank" brand, offers overnight and fixed-term deposits online at www.hamburg-direct-bank.de.

This "Deposits as a Service" solution allows banks to efficiently attract retail deposits without establishing their own complex systems. It features automated workflows, high scalability, and regulatory compliance. flatexDEGIRO plans to expand its BPO segment by acquiring one to two partner banks annually. HCOB is the first new customer in this expansion, joining existing partners managing €8 billion in deposits.
