Jens Möbitz Appointed COO as flatexDEGIRO Expands Management Board

Effective January 1, 2026, flatexDEGIRO, a leading European investment platform, appoints Jens Möbitz as Chief Operating Officer (COO). This marks the expansion of the Group Management Board from three to four members. Möbitz will oversee Banking Operations and IT, areas he already manages for flatexDEGIRO Bank AG since September 2023.

Hans-Hermann Lotter, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasized that the integration of operational and technical excellence is crucial for the company's value proposition. The appointment is strategically aligned with the anticipated merger of flatexDEGIRO AG and flatexDEGIRO Bank AG in 2026/2027.

Möbitz's career includes roles at Deutsche Bank and XCOM AG. The current board also includes Oliver Behrens (CEO), Dr. Benon Janos (CFO), and Christiane Strubel (CHRO).
