Flughafen Wien AG Reports Positive Q1 2025 Results
Flughafen Wien AG has announced positive results for the first quarter of 2025. The group recorded a 4.6% increase in passenger traffic, totaling 7.9 million passengers. April 2025 saw a rise of 9.6% in passenger numbers across the group.
Financially, revenue rose by 7.4% to €225.9 million. EBITDA increased by 2.2% to €81.3 million, and EBIT grew by 4.9% to €48.7 million, leading to a 7.3% growth in net profit, reaching €39.9 million.
The company continues its investments, with €300 million planned for 2025, focusing on projects like the Terminal 3 Southern Expansion. The investment in Malta Airport shows potential, having handled 15% more passengers.
The group maintains its 2025 guidance, expecting about 42 million passengers, €1,080 million in revenue, and an EBITDA of roughly €440 million.
