Focus Graphite Expands C4V Testing Program for Cathode Applications

Focus Graphite Advanced Materials Inc. has announced an expansion of its testing program with Charge CCCV, a U.S.-based battery technology leader, to include graphite residue from the spheronization process for cathode uses. This initiative aims to reduce waste by repurposing byproducts from anode materials production, aligning with the company's strategy to optimize resource efficiency and enhance ESG performance.

The high-purity Lac Knife graphite, previously used for anodes, will undergo further refinement for cathode applications. This approach differentiates Focus from competitors by retaining purity and enabling value-added applications, enhancing the company's position in the global battery market.
