Ford Unveils Expansion Strategy in Europe with New Models and Technology
Ford has declared a strategic expansion in Europe with a launch of seven new models over the upcoming years. The strategy is part of the "Ready-Set-Ford" platform, focusing on business productivity through connected services and software solutions. Ford Pro, its commercial vehicle branch, aims to enhance productivity with embedded modems and predictive intelligence in their vehicles, benefiting both customers and dealers.
Two new vehicle models have been introduced: the Ranger Super Duty and the Transit City. The Ranger targets industries requiring high durability, while the Transit City, an all-electric vehicle, is tailored for urban landscapes transitioning to electric-only zones.
In the passenger vehicle sector, Ford plans to release five new models by 2029, blending rally heritage with modern design. Ford stresses the need for alignment between regulations and consumer needs during the transition to electric vehicles.
