Freenet AG Reports Strong Nine-Month Performance Driven by IPTV Growth
Freenet AG has announced a successful performance for the first nine months of 2025. The company reported an increase in adjusted EBITDA to EUR 395.1 million, marking a 1.6% growth with stable revenue. Contributing significantly to this performance is the IPTV service waipu.tv, which gained 80.2 thousand new subscribers, bolstering EBITDA growth.
The customer base expanded by 205.6 thousand, reaching 10.355 million, with postpaid customers showing notable growth. The acquisition of mobilezone's German operations and the extension of the MediaMarktSaturn partnership solidify freenet's strategic market position.
Despite challenges, freenet confirmed its guidance, attributing its stability to strategic decisions and innovation in Mobile Communications and TV offerings. With a free cash flow increase to EUR 226.1 million, the company is poised to meet its financial targets for the year.
