Funding Circle Completes Share Buyback Transaction
On 5 September 2025, Funding Circle Holdings plc announced a significant transaction involving the repurchase and cancellation of its own shares. The company purchased 123,704 ordinary shares from Investec Bank plc on the London Stock Exchange as part of a buy-back program initiated on 15 May 2025.
The shares were bought at prices ranging from 125.20p to 132.20p, with a volume-weighted average price of 128.7169p. Following the cancellation of these shares, Funding Circle’s issued share capital consists of 307,135,629 shares, with voting rights available.
This move aligns with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 on market abuse, integrated into UK law through the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
