Funding Circle's Share Buyback: A Strategic Move

Funding Circle Holdings plc has announced a significant transaction involving its own shares. On 18 August 2025, the company purchased 196,233 ordinary shares from Investec Bank plc on the London Stock Exchange. This move is part of a buyback program initially announced on 15 May 2025.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from 149.20p to 154.40p, with a volume-weighted average price of 153.3491p. All repurchased shares are set to be cancelled, bringing the total issued share capital to 308,858,734 ordinary shares with voting rights.

This adjustment allows shareholders and others with notification obligations to recalibrate their interests in line with the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
