Gabriel Resources Announces Share Consolidation and ICSID Proceedings Update
Gabriel Resources Ltd. has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for a 10:1 share consolidation. This change, effective February 18, 2025, will see its shares traded on a consolidated basis, reducing the number of shares from over 1.25 billion to approximately 126 million.
In parallel, Gabriel is engaged in ICSID annulment proceedings against an award issued in its arbitration case with Romania. A provisional stay on the award's enforcement, including a cost order of about USD 10 million, remains in place. The committee responsible for the annulment proceedings has mandated ongoing security discussions between the parties.
The procedural calendar for the annulment outlines key submission dates throughout 2025, leading to a hearing in January 2026.
