Geberit Reports Strong Performance in 2025 Despite Challenges

Geberit AG announced a strong business performance for 2025 despite facing challenging conditions in Europe's building construction industry. The company saw a significant increase in sales and sales volumes, bolstered by the successful development of newly introduced products and widespread market growth.

Net sales rose by 2.5% to CHF 3,163 million, with a currency-adjusted increase of 4.8%. Operating cashflow (EBITDA) increased by 2.0% to CHF 931 million, reflecting a 5.3% increase after currency adjustments. The EBITDA margin slightly declined to 29.4% due to one-off costs associated with a plant closure, but excluding these costs, the figure would have shown improvement.

The net income remained stable at CHF 598 million, with earnings per share increasing by 0.5% to CHF 18.15 largely due to a share buyback program. Free cashflow increased by 7.4%, reaching CHF 659 million.
