Gemdale Gold Reports Promising Drill Results from Pontio Project

Gemdale Gold Inc. has announced notable results from its 2026 drill program at the Pontio Gold Project in Finland. This initial phase, featuring 28 diamond drill holes over 5,009 metres, aims to support an early 2027 resource estimate. Reports reveal an expansion in the N2 Sector of the M2 Trend, showing substantial near-surface gold mineralisation.

Key results include 92.85m at 0.70 g/t Au from HOLE PONT082 and 66.86m at 0.59 g/t Au from HOLE PONT084. The drilling has expanded the N2 sector, with the diorite host now extending over 100m in width on some profiles. Notably, mineralisation remains open at depth across the project’s 4km mineralised strike.

The project is situated in Finland’s historical mining district, benefiting from quality infrastructure. Visible gold was identified in a sample from the central-southern S1 Sector, indicating significant prospects and continuity.
