Gerresheimer Earns A- in CDP Climate Rating

Gerresheimer AG, a notable player in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and cosmetics sectors, has achieved an A- score in the CDP rating for its transparency in climate action. This rating recognizes the company’s effective CO2 emissions management and awards it a "Leadership" status, setting it above the global and industry averages, which are both at a C rating.

The Düsseldorf-based company has set ambitious goals to halve its CO2 emissions by 2030 under its strategy known as formula g. By the end of 2024, Gerresheimer had already achieved a 28% reduction compared to 2019 levels and sourced 55% of its electricity from renewables.

CDP, a global entity for environmental data, acknowledges Gerresheimer’s top marks in various subcategories such as emission reduction initiatives and governance, further enhancing its commitment to environmental sustainability.
