GFT Technologies Acquires Brazilian SAP Specialist to Boost Growth

GFT Technologies SE announced its acquisition of Brazilian SAP consultancy Megawork Consultoria e Sistemas Ltda. This move aligns with GFT’s five-year strategic plan, focusing on high-value services, AI integration, and market expansion. By entering the SAP ecosystem, GFT aims to enhance its service offerings, including SAP implementations and migrations, leveraging its GenAI product Wynxx to streamline these processes. The acquisition positions GFT to tap into new industries such as manufacturing and the public sector, where SAP is prevalent.

The transaction, funded entirely by GFT's existing resources, involves acquiring all Megawork shares from its founders. Megawork's leadership will remain to ensure a smooth transition. The acquisition also offers substantial cross-selling opportunities, as many of GFT's global clients already utilize SAP. This strategic decision strengthens GFT’s standing in high-margin sectors and elevates its AI and cloud transformation capabilities.
