Gimv Shifts Focus, Ends New Life Sciences Investments
Gimv, the European investment company, will discontinue its new investments in Life Sciences to focus on strategic objectives. This decision aligns with Gimv's ambitions for growth. The firm will prioritize its investment platforms: Consumer, Healthcare, Smart Industries, and Sustainable Cities. Gimv sees these areas offering significant growth opportunities amidst the digital transition.
The existing Life Sciences portfolio, comprising 11 companies and representing about 5% of Gimv's total portfolio value, will remain. Value maximization will be sought in consultation with the current companies and syndicate investors.
